Just a short trip away from Lisbon are the beautiful towns of Sintra and Cascais, with lunch and time for prayers during the day. Start your tour with the journey to Sintra. Follow your guide to the historical centre where you’ll have free time to explore the town and visit Sintra National Palace. DAY 3

Start your journey eastwards, crossing the border into Andalucia, the southernmost province of Spain to arrive in the beautiful city of Seville.  Following prayers and lunch enjoy your guided city tour of the many impressive monuments dating back over the centuries. The Moors ruled Andalucia for many centuries and their legacy of marvellous architecture includes the stunning Alcazar. Equally impressive is the Gothic cathedral with its Giralda, a minaret transformed into a Christian bell tower. Head into the picturesque coastal hills, passing through Ronda with its historic viaduct en route to Malaga.  Prayers and lunch are followed by a sightseeing tour of this lovely city bordering the Mediterranean Sea featuring the Alcazaba built by the Hammudid dynasty, the Cathedral and the exterior of the Picasso Museum, which houses more than 150 pieces donated by Picasso’s family. Later in the afternoon climb back away from the sea into the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains.  Overnight Granada.

Today you will visit the Alhambra,  a UNESCO-listed palace complex and Granada’s most famous monument. Learn all the Alhambra’s intriguing history from your guide while exploring its delights, hearing tales of the Moorish Sultans who once called the palace their home. Visit Alcazaba Fortress and see Torre de la Vela, walk through the Alhambra’s most important halls and courtyards including the Nasrid Palaces, Patio de los Arrayanes, and the Salon de Embajadores.
