Itinerary

DAILY ITINERARY INCLUDES:  MID-DAY PRAYER STOP  & HALAL, SEAFOOD OR VEGETARIAN DINNER

DAY 1

On arrival travel through the beautiful English countryside into Oxfordshire to enjoy some superb shopping at Bicester Village Designer Outlet. After lunch travel into London to visit the Islamic Cultural Centre and the impressive London Central Mosque in its peaceful setting in Regent’s Park. Then its shopping time again! Transfer to exclusive Knightsbridge and one of the world’s most famous stores, Harrods! Overnight London Area.

DAY 2

Today enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of London taking in the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, final resting place of seventeen monarchs, Downing Street, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Nelson’s Column and Piccadilly Circus. Enjoy lunch in a central London restaurant before a visit and prayers at the London home of the Muslim World League. Continue your sightseeing of this great city including St Paul’s Cathedral, the iconic Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, the medieval castle which served as a fortress, a royal palace, a prison, a place of execution and torture, an armoury, treasury, and since 1303, the home of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom. Dinner this evening is taken in one of London’s fine Halal restaurants. Overnight London Area.

DAY 3

Join your coach for the journey to Paris, taking the ferry or the shuttle through the Channel Tunnel to reach France and continue to Paris. Alternatively, transfer from your hotel to St Pancras International this morning, to take the Eurostar high speed train direct to the heart of Paris. On arrival in Paris, capital city of France, enjoy a short orientation sightseeing tour en-route to your hotel. Once check in is complete, you have free time to discover more of this incredible city independently at your own pace. Overnight in Paris area.

DAY 4

Today is dedicated to exploring Paris starting with a panoramic sightseeing tour of some of the key landmarks of one of Europe’s greatest cities. Marvel at the historic and world renowned monuments and buildings such as the famous Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, Trocadero, Opera, Musée d’Orsay, Notre Dame and Les Invalides.  Visit the Grande Mosquée de Paris, France’s premier Mosque, for prayers and free time. Admire the grandiose Place de la Concorde and the elegant boulevards full of shopping opportunities, including the world famous Champs Elysees, and of course the statuesque structure they thought would only last a few years – the Eiffel Tower!  There’s the opportunity to visit the famous Fragonard perfume museum before enjoying dinner this evening at one of the many excellent Halal restaurants in Paris. Overnight Paris.

DAY 5

Travel into the Low Countries today to visit the Belgian capital Brussels, famed for its Art Nouveau buildings and splendid squares. Visit the Grand Mosque of Brussels and enjoy a short panoramic sightseeing including the Atomium, the Grand Place, the Hotel de Ville and the iconic statue of the city – Manneken Pis.  Don’t forget to sample the legendary Belgian chocolates while you are there! Continue via Antwerpen and on to Amsterdam, the capital of the The Netherlands.  Overnight Amsterdam area.

DAY 6

Your full day in Amsterdam includes a panoramic sightseeing of the city taking in the Rijksmuseum, the National Monument, the Royal Palace, the Van Gogh Museum and of course the canals.   Enjoy lunch then in the afternoon proceed to Zaanse Schans park on the edge of the city to see working windmills, cheese & clog farms and watch a demonstration of how Dutch cheese and wooden clogs are made. There’s also a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit a Diamond Factory and see for yourself how the precious stones are processed, as well as the option to take an evening  canal cruise to see the city from a different perspective Overnight Amsterdam area.

DAY 7

Head into Germany today for a visit to Cologne Central Mosque and sightseeing of Cologne with its historic old town, great bridges and magnificent cathedral – one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in Europe.   Cologne sits astride one of Europe’s greatest and busiest rivers, the mighty River Rhine. Head south taking in its most scenic section, the Rhine Gorge,  twisting and turning amidst impossibly steep vineyards and “fairytale”medieval castles past the legendary Loreley rock. Here medieval boatmen were said to be lured to their doom by the beautiful Rhine Maidens. Arrive in Frankfurt, Germany’s financial hub, for a panoramic sightseeing tour of highlights including  Frankfurter Roemer, St Bartholomaus Dom, the Hauptwache, the Main Tower, Mainkai, Borse Stock Exchange, the Karmeliterkloster and of course Goethe’s House.  Overnight Frankfurt area.

DAY 8

Drive via historic Heidelberg with its famous  pink castle and into the picturesque hills of the Schwarzwald (Black Forest),  “birthplace of the Cuckoo Clock“. Visit a workshop to see how these beautiful wooden timepieces are made and the beautiful lakeside resort of Titisee before driving across the border into Switzerland for a stop at the spectacular Rhinefall waterfalls where the huge river tumbles over a rocky rapid in a sea of frothing white water. The day’s sightseeing ends with a short panoramic tour of the country’s commercial capital Zurich. Overnight Zurich/Lucerne area.

DAY 9

This morning’s short drive brings you to Engelberg and Mount Titlis to enjoy a day in the heart of the beautiful Swiss Alps mountains. Your included cable car ride to the summit is truly spectacular and reveals wonderful views of glaciers – stunning “rivers of ice” and snow clad peaks all around. Return to the valley and travel to the delightful lakeside town of Lucerne for an included guided walking tour exploring this historic and picturesque city and taking in the famous wooden bridge and Lion Monument.  Visit one of Switzerland’s many Mosques this afternoon en route to Zurich Airport for your onward flight.
