This wonderful 8 day tour starts in the beautiful South of France in Nice for 3 nights and finishes up in the capital city, Paris. From Paris, we will also explore two unique and wonderful areas, with an overnight stay in Caen and day trips to Versailles & St Malo. With visits to stunning cathedrals, drives along the scenic French Riviera, tours of historic landmarks, numerous opportunities to sample the culinary delights of Monte Carlo, Cannes and Paris, this tour will be sure to leave you wanting more of France!

Upon arrival in Nice Airport, meet with your driver and guide and transfer to the city centre for lunch. After lunch, your guide will take you on a panoramic sightseeing tour of Nice, with photo stops included at such highlights as Nice Cathedral, Promenade des Anglais and Notre Dame de Nice. Overnight Nice.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour along the beautiful French Riviera coast. Drive past Mont Boron to Villefranche-sur-Mer, a charming and authentic fishing village. From here, continue to the medieval village of Eze where you will have the opportunity to visit the Fragonard perfume factory. Continue along the coast to the extraordinary little Principality of Monaco for lunch. Afternoon sightseeing tour of this famous and elegant place – photo stops include the Opera House, Prince’s Palace of Monaco, Cathedral, Monte Carlo Casino and Exotic Gardens. There will be some free time for you to wander around the incredible designer stores and perhaps visit the iconic locations on the F1 Grand Prix circuit if you wish. Overnight Nice.
This morning head in the opposite direction along the Riviera coast to the exclusive resort of Antibes, before continuing to the glamourous town of Cannes, where there’s time at leisure to experience the atmosphere of this beautiful town. Continue into the hills to will visit Grasse – known as the perfume capital of the world where the shops and their displays will overwhelm you. Nearby is picturesque St Paul de Vence, one of the oldest medieval walled towns on the French Riviera, a stunning village full of narrow streets to explore and famed for its artistic set. Transfer to Nice station to board the world famous TGV high speed train which whisks you to Paris Gare de Lyon at up to 300 kmh. Enjoy a short panoramic tour through Paris with views of many of the iconic sights such as Notre Dame the Eiffel Tower and the River Seine. Follow the Seine westwards into another of France’s most scenic regions, Normandy for a two day tour of its many interesting sights. Overnight Rouen/Caen area.
First stop this morning is the historic capital of the Normandy region, Rouen. With its medieval quarter and stunning Gothic Cathedral, famed as the place where medieval heroine Joan of Arc was burned at the stake. Continue to the picturesque port town of Honfleur for a lunchtime stop then onward along the Normandy coast to Arromanches, a small port town at the heart of the famous landings with its fascinating D-Day Museum. Offshore the remains of the Mulberry Harbours that played such a crucial role in the D-Day landings can still be seen. Overnight Caen / Rouen region.
Visit the seaside resort and walled town of St Malo. Walk along the narrow, cobbled streets and feel as though you have stepped back in time. After a short stop to view magnificent Mont St Michel with its historic abbey perched atop a rocky island its time to return east towards Paris. Overnight Paris/Versailles area.
This morning is dedicated to visiting the magnificent Palace of Versailles, the world famous royal complex built by Louis XIV the Sun King, with audio guide included. During the afternoon you have plenty of time to make the most of the fantastic shopping at La Vallee Shopping Outlet. Overnight Paris/Versaille area.
The highlights of Paris are included in this morning’s panoramic sightseeing tour taking in the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees and Place de la Concorde, the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame cathedral and of course the Eiffel Tower. Exact content depends on time available before you commence your homeward travel today.
