Itinerary


DAY 1

Arrive in Dublin, short panoramic sightseeing tour including the best known landmarks of the city such as Trinity College, St Stephen’s GreenSt Patrick’s Cathedral and the Bank of Ireland. Check in at your hotel in central Dublin for 3 nights.

DAY 2

Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of  Dublin, including Trinity College with the famous Book of Kells – the incredible and ornately illustrated medieval  manuscript; The Bank of Ireland, the River LiffeyDublin Castle and St Patrick’s Cathedral. In the afternoon, free time to explore the sights of Grafton Street and  Temple Bar, famous for their pubs, clubs, restaurants and shops.
DAY 3

Half day sampling the places they made the drinks Dublin is famous for!  The morning will include a tour of the Guinness Storehouse. A fermentation plant at St James’s Gate Brewery has been transformed into a place where you can experience one of the world’s best known brands in a totally unexpected way – enjoy the Gravity Bar high above Dublin with splendid views.  Follow on with a tour of the Old Jameson Whiskey Distillery before free time for shopping.

DAY 4

Depending on your return departure time, enjoy Dublin at your leisure before heading home with great memories of this exciting city.

You may wish to include or extend your stay to add some of these superb excursions from your base in Dublin:

  • Half day trip to the picturesque and wild Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough – a 6th century monastery or a full day trip to Wicklow, Glendalough combined with a visit to Powerscourt House and Gardens south of Dublin.
  • Half day trip to Malahide Castle, the impressive medieval fortress and a private home for nearly eight hundred years inhabited by the same Talbot family
  • Full day trip to one of the most beautiful Irish medieval towns – Kilkenny – with a visit to the famous Kilkenny Castle.

We can arrange memorable evening dinners and entertainment – here are just a selection of ideas:

  • A traditional Irish welcome dinner at one of the oldest Irish pubs – Brazen Head
  • A Premium Whiskey Dinner at The Old Jameson Whiskey Distillery – a 3 course meal accompanied by Irish Premium Whiskey. The Master of Ceremonies will present each course and demonstrate the quality of each whiskey and how it enhances the meal. The evening is rounded off with traditional music and dance.
  • Gala Dinner at Dublin Castle
