Product Consultant - Italy
Julie was brought up in rural England – in glorious Herefordshire near the Malvern Hills a beautiful area of England which was the birthplace and source of inspiration for the British Composer Edward Elgar.
After a degree from Oxford Brookes University in English and Art History she began her life in travel first as a Tour Manager leading groups through Europe, particularly to Italy before joining the Page & Moy Product and Operations department. There she spent many years successfully planning and contracting itineraries all over Italy from the Dolomites in the north to Sicily in the south. She also looked after product and operations for Scandinavia, particularly Norway and Iceland.
During this time Julie was working from Wimbledon in London and from the north of Italy near Venice where she now lives.
Question & Answer
Italy of course! The country that literally has everything you could wish for…. and more... It really is the perfect place to live and to visit to with fascinating medieval cities crammed with Art and History, beautiful lakes like Como & Maggiore, stunning landscapes, beautiful beaches, fantastic Shopping and the food… What more can I say!
Probably “spaghetti alle vongole” (with clams), although it is so hard to choose just one thing! Together with crisp, sparkling Prosecco from the hills of Valdobiadene and Conigliano close to where I live.
