1

Arrive in Lisbon. Upon arrival, group will have city tour of Lisbon. With so many attractions such as Jerónimos Monastery and Torre de Belem, which are both classified by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites, you will never get bored in this city!

Just a short trip away from Lisbon are the beautiful towns of Sintra and Cascais. Start your tour with the journey to Sintra. Follow your guide to the historical center of Sintra, where you’ll have free time to explore the town and visit Sintra National Palace. Next, admire the landscapes of Sintra Natural Park, passing Quinta da Regaleira. Enjoy a photo opportunity at the cliffs of Roca Cape (Cabo da Roca), the westernmost point of Europe. Wander around the center of Cascais afterwards, a former fishing village and today a popular holiday spot.  Drive back to Lisbon for your dinner and overnight.

Check out from your hotel in Lisbon and proceed to Seville. Upon arrival, start your city tour of  Seville. The city has many impressive monuments dating back over the centuries. The Moors' legacy of marvellous architecture includes the Gothic cathedral with its Giralda, a minaret transformed into a Christian bell tower. After visiting the cathedral you will see the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower) by the Guadalquivir River. Overnight in Seville.

Leave for Granada and pass by Malaga en route. Have a sightseeing tour of this wonderful city on getting a glimpse of Malaga’s major attractions such as the Cathedral of Malaga, the Alcazaba, and the exterior of the Picasso Museum, which houses more than 150 pieces donated by Picasso’s family. Overnight in Granada.

Today you will visit the Alhambra, the city’s most famous monument, a UNESCO-listed palace complex. Learn all the Alhambra’s intriguing history from your guide while exploring its delights, hearing tales and trivia about the Moorish Kings and sultans who once called the place their home. Visit Alcazaba Fortress and see Torre de la Vela, walk through the Alhambra’s most important halls and courtyards including the Nasrid Palaces, Patio de los Arrayanes, and the Salon de Embajadores. Afterwards, visit the Generalife Gardens and stroll through two of its beautiful courtyards. Have some free time in the afternoon for some shopping before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Granada.

Leave Granada and proceed to Cordoba which used to be the European Jewel of the Middle Ages. Walk along the Roman Bridge to get to the old town and visit the Mezquita of Cordoba, which is part mosque, part church. Walk around the town with its cobblestone streets and pass by the Jewish District before heading to the train station where you will take the AVE high speed train to Madrid. Overnight in Madrid.

Start your day trip enjoy a walking tour of the city, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed city – Toledo. A highlight of your visit will be the sight of The Burial of the Count of Orgaz, the famous painting by 16th-century master El Greco, located in the Church of St Tome. See the exterior of the 13th-century Cathedral of Toledo, the medieval castle, Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue, San Juan of the Kings Monastery and the Victorio Macho Museum. Return to Madrid afterwards and enjoy a sightseeing tour of this jewel city, visiting Palacio Real de Madrid and dropping by the Bernabeu Stadium where Madrid’s football league is based. Overnight in Madrid.

Leave Madrid and stop by Zaragoza en route to Barcelona. Visit the Cathedral of Our Lady of El Pilar and view La Seo del Salvador and the Palacio de Aljaferia. Continue driving to Barcelona afterwards where you will be staying for the rest of your tour. Overnight in Barcelona.

This morning you will get the chance to visit the Royal Basilica of Montserrat, famous for its12th-century Romanesque carving of the the Black Virgin. On weekday afternoons, there is the opportunity to hear one of Europe's oldest children's choirs: La Escolania de Montserrat. Have some free time to explore the surroundings before returning to Barcelona. Once in Barcelona, continue your tour as you visit the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s heritage which continues to be built up ‘till today. Then take a stroll around Parc Guell before having some free time around Las Ramblas. Overnight in Barcelona.

Have some free time before your coach takes you to the airport for your departure back home.
