Here you can also wonder at the sensation of standing astride two continents as America and Eurasia imperceptibly move apart, whilst the day’s third marvel are the stunning steaming natural fountains of volcanic Geysir, the place that gave its name to Geysers.

Whale Watching Cruise (all year)
You are sure to be entranced by the excitement of searching  for whales – species vary according to the season.  Head out into the waters off Reykjavik for a chance to see these wonderful creatures in their natural habitat – an experience not to be forgotten.

Visit to Puffin Island (May - Aug)
Take a short boat ride into the bay or Reykjavik for sensational seabird viewing from the vessel. Depending on the season the delightful parrot like puffins and enormous Sea Eagles will steal the show.

Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights  (Sep - Apr)
Situated just south of the Arctic Circle and within  easy reach of wide open skylines with very little light pollution, Reykjavik is a superb base for excursions by boat or on land to experience the unforgettable and unrivalled sight of the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights.
