GO WEST and TOURISM IRELAND PRESENTATION TO THE HUNGARIAN TRAVEL TRADE AND PRESS
Phil Caldwell from Go West and Susan Byrne of Tourism Ireland were in Budapest recently to give a morning-long presentation entitled 'Ireland - Now is the time' to a group of top Hungarian tour operators and trade press.
Phil outlined the main reasons to consider featuring Ireland in tour operators programmes this year, highlighting very competitive hotel prices as a motivating force. Susan took delegates on a tour of Ireland through an excellent Powerpoint presentation, and this was followed by a 'question and answer' session, a quiz and prize draw and lunch.
The response to the presentation from the delegates was extremely positive, and we hope to repeat it in other countries within our Central and Eastern European market in the near future'
